Representatives of the University of Southampton’s Business School will conduct career counseling sessions in India between November 26 and December 3, for international MBA aspirants. The sessions will be held at the QS MBA Fairs in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore as part of the QS World MBA Tour.
The sessionsin Mumbai and Bangalore will be conducted by Dr. Swarna Prasad, Programme Manager of MBA at Southampton Business School. The Delhi session will be conducted by Mr. Saf Jeevanjee, Senior International Officer, Southampton Business School. Students who attend the sessions will learn about the strengths of the Southampton MBA, the admission process, fee structure, financial assistance, and scholarship criteria.
Accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), the global standard in MBAs, the Southampton MBA meets the highest standards of postgraduate leadership and management education. The program is of 12 months’ duration. Its core modules give students insights into team dynamics and their individual management style, as well as covering key business functions such as accounting and finance, marketing, operations management, people management, strategy, decision analytics, and global business. Students can alsochoose from a range of options that help them pursue their career objectives. These cover areas such as entrepreneurship, supply management, project management, and marketing communications.
Applicants to the program must have a first or second class honours degree in an appropriate subject from a recognised university, and at least 3 years of relevant professional work experience. For English language requirements, applicants must score an overall of IELTS 6.5. The fee for the one year MBA programme is £23,500.
