The just released QS World University Rankings for 2013-2014, have shown few surprises in the list – mostly stable the ranking reaffirms the U.K. and the U.S. as hotspots for top academic institutions.
Interestingly though, U.S. universities represent less than a third of the top 100 universities on the list, and only a quarter of the top 200. The list also indicates a resurgence in European universities – possibly due to an increase in English-taught courses. Several Asian and Australian universities continue to feature on the list, but QS cites the picture for the Asian university trend as being “mixed”.
