The Obama Foundation is now hiring interns who are full-time or part-time graduate and undergraduate students and are eligible to work in the United states. The foundation is aiming to recruit diverse force of people to work in a variety of fields in the US.

The Fall 2018 Internship stretches up to 14 weeks beginning on September 4^th 2018 and ending on December 7^th 2018. For students following the quarter system, the duration on the internship will be from September 17^th 2018 till December 21^st 2018. The interns will have to fulfil a 40 hour a week work schedule in either Chicago or Washington, D.C. office. The interns will work across the following departments - Correspondence, Development, Digital, Experience, Finance, International, Office of the CEO, Office of the Executive Director, Program, Public Engagement, Real Estate and Research.

The internship requires students who are ready to work in a prompt work ambience, have excellent organisational and time management skills, and are skilled researchers and writers. The interns will play a significant role in providing the Obama Foundation with statistical, analytical and administrative assistance. The internship is nurtured by the values of President Obama and Mrs. Obama, who trust in the importance of finding a common ground and seek innovative approaches to public problems.

The applications opened on 23^rd April 2018, at 9 AM CT (Central Time) and will close on 14^th May 2018 at 5 PM CT.

The foundation will be providing the interns with a stipend of $1,500, and reimbursements up to $1,500 which are directly related to the internship. The foundation will not be providing any accommodation facilities to their interns. Fluency in written as well as spoken English is a must for the internship as the entire programme will be conducted in English.
