Come 29th September and Campus France will organize a series of events in Chandigarh, Chennai, Bangalore and Kochi as part of the Study in France Education Fair 2016. More than 30 French institutions will participate in the fair which is an excellent opportunity for students to explore France as a higher education destination. The venues and dates for the fair are as follows:

  • Chandigarh – September 29th
  • Chennai – October 1st
  • Bangalore – October 3rd
  • Kochi – October 5th

To attend the fair, students must register online at the Campus France website. They can also request for personal interviews with representatives of French universities, post-registration. The institutions will respond with a confirmation after checking the eligibility of candidates as well as the  availability of slots.

Students who attend the fair will gain an exposure to the best of international education. After all, France is the third most popular choice next to US and UK for students heading abroad. Also, the low cost of studies, good rankings and employment possibilities make it a very attractive prospect. For more reasons to study in France, read our article here.

Institutions attending the fair are leading French schools and universities which offer nationally recognized diplomas in engineering, business and other specialized subjects. French engineering schools expected to attend include Ecole Nationale De L’Aviation Civile (ENAC), ENSTA Bretagne, ESILV Graduate School of Engineering, and others. These schools offer diplomas certified by a national commission on engineering degrees (CTI) and are closely allied with the business world.

Business schools attending include EDHEC, ESSEC, Montpellier, and Toulouse among others. All these institutions offer nationally recognized diplomas regulated by the French government and a great insight into the European market.

One of the main attractions at the fair will be the presence of schools which offer degrees in niche subjects that France is renowned for, such as gastronomy, fashion, animation and photography. The programs in most of these schools are between 2-5 years in duration and prepare the students for professional practice. Le Cordon Bleu, the leading school for culinary arts and hotel management, will be among the schools attending.
