The city of romance, Paris, has also been home to some of the greatest thinkers of our time. Durkheim, Foucault, Comte, de Beauvoir are among the few that regarded this city as home. Nestled among the numerous cafes and museums lies the Institute d'etudes politiques de Paris (simply referred to as Sciences Po). More than 140 years old, it has traditionally educated France's political and diplomatic elite. It has the status of grand etablissement, which allows its admissions process to be highly selective. It is generally thought of to be one of the world's most reputable and prestigious schools of the social sciences. It is located in the heart of Paris with the Notre Dame, Louvre and Eiffel Tower just a few blocks away.
An amateur photographer, Aditi Sahay is going to pursue a Masters degree in Development Practice at Sciences Po. She is looking forward to living in the city which combines her 3 most favourite things - wine, food and jazz music.
