The programme is bilingual (English and German), and English is the main language. You will need to submit proof of good verbal and writing skills in both languages.
The programme is for journalists-in-training, those working in radio, TV, online and print, and communication experts. It also admits applicants who work in NGOs and government ministries.
Tuition fees for the four-semester programme are €6,000. Students can pay the total sum before admission, or a monthly rate of €250. Additionally, there is a semester fee (currently of €265.40), payable to the University of Applied Sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, which covers administrative costs, studentship fee, and the use of public transport in the area.
Prospective students from developing countries can apply for the full scholarship, which provides €750/month to cover living costs. It also covers tuition and airfare.
If you don't meet the requirements for the full scholarship, you can apply for a partial scholarship, which covers the tuition fees. You would have to pay for travel, accommodation, and other living costs.
