The
DO School in
Berlin has announced a
Fellowship Program for Social Entrepreneurs. The program invited 20 young entrepreneurs, to launch their own social venture. The group of entrepreneurs will work on ‘
The Future of Work’ challenge posed by
H&M (Germany).
This year, H&M, Germany, will challenge the Fellows to come up with business models which can empower H&M employees, have a positive impact and enable ways to track progress.
The program will run in two main phases: Incubation and Implementation. The on campus
Incubation phase will run from
15 May – 24 July in Berlin. During this time, the young entrepreneurs will live and work together, supported by coaches from the Challenge Lab.
This will be followed by the Implementation phase, which will last for ten months, from
25 July 2016 – 14 May 2017. The Fellows will continue their work in their home country.
5000 EUR will be
awarded to the three most convincing venture plans.
The tuition fees for the program, excluding travel and living expenses, is 1000 EUR. However, financial aid is also available. The selection process is need-blind, so the school will try to ensure that all selected fellows can attend the program.
