Going to University in a different country can be daunting. Huge campuses, big classes and fast-talking lecturers can leave your head spinning – but at Bond University on Australia’s Gold Coast, we take a different approach.
We understand the importance of not only delivering a quality education, but also ensuring our students receive a world-class educational experience and are ready to hit the ground running as soon as they graduate.
In the 2016 Good Universities Guide - an independent consumer guide to Australia’s higher education institutions - Bond University was awarded more 5-star ratings in the Educational Experience category than any other university in Australia.
Bond scored 5-star ratings (on a scale of 1 to 5) for its student satisfaction, teaching quality, generic skills and staff-student ratio. In fact due to the University’s smaller class sizes, personalised approach and unprecedented access to teaching staff, Bond has Australia’s lowest student to teacher ratio of just 11:1.
Not only are our academics highly-qualified, but they are equipped with practical knowledge and industry relevance gained from consulting to major multinational corporations all over the world.
Bond’s approach to higher education goes beyond academic knowledge to encompass the key employability and leaderships skills that recruiters are looking for. And from day one, our on-campus Career Development Centre team works with each and every student to help refine your career goals and map out a career pathway.
At Bond, we believe education goes beyond the classroom. Our unique Beyond Bond program will expand your horizons with internships, global volunteering programs, international competitions, industry conferences, study tours, community service and much, much more.
The Careers Development Centre team can also assist students to find part-time work while they study. Working part-time is a great way to earn money, gain experience, make friends and sharpen your teamwork and language skills. Your international student visa may allow you to work part-time up to 40 hours a fortnight while studying, and you can work full-time during semester breaks.
Bond’s innovative accelerated degree program means Bond students are able to fast track their careers and earn money faster by graduating sooner. For example, an internationally recognised bachelor degree can be completed in just two years (six semesters) via our three-semester-per-year timetable.
