Fulbright Foreign Student Program
One of the best-known financial awards for students, Fulbright is present in over 160 countries. The scholarship enables recipients to study, teach and conduct research in diverse academic fields of study.
To be eligible, students must hold the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree.

Siebel Scholars
Established in 2000, the program funds the final year of study for talented students at leading graduate schools of business, computer science, bioengineering, and energy science.
Each year over 90 students receive an award of 35000 USD. So, over the last 19 years, the program has funded 45 million USD in grants to universities including Stanford, Princeton, and Northwestern.

AAUW International Fellowships
One of the earliest international scholarships, the Fellowships were founded in 1917. The program supports women pursuing full-time graduate or post-doctoral studies in the US.
To be eligible, applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree before the application deadline (usually in November). And they must have applied to their chosen institutions. Applicants must also demonstrate a commitment to the welfare of women and girls. The fellowships are awarded to students who can demonstrate that they will return to their home countries after completing their studies.
The awards have a monetary value between 18000 USD to 30000 USD.

Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Programme
The program offers a year in the US for professionals from across the globe. It involves 10 months of non-degree study and other professional experiences for selected fellows.
Approximately 150 fellows receive this scholarship every year. Since the program began in 1978, more than 5,700 men and women have been recognized as Humphrey Fellows.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree, five years of full-time work experience, limited or no experience in the US, leadership qualities, a public service record, and strong English skills.
The program fields include finance and banking, human resource management, communications/journalism, public health policy, and management.
