Ms Silva Paananen has started in January 2012 as Head of India operations of Promade Communications India Pvt Ltd in New Delhi, a subsidiary of a Finnish marketing communication company Promade Oy. Promade Communications India offers localised marketing communications services to Finnish and other foreign companies establishing their presence in India, working in partnership with Indian partners. Promade India also offers market entry services for educational companies and institutes. Silva Paananen worked as Head of Finpro, Finland Trade Centre, Chennai from Sept 2008 till end December 2011. Before India, she worked as Senior Consultant at Finpro Helsinki and Finpro Milan, Italy, having 12 years of experience in consulting the companies in their internationalisation. Before Finpro, Silva Paananen has worked e.g. as Training and Research Manager at a Finnish Association of Sales and Marketing Professionals. Silva Paananen was born in Helsinki, Finland, graduated from the University of Tampere (BA, Department of Translation Studies) and has later complemented her studies by attending various business development and international marketing training programmes.
